Would you pay more taxes if you can chose where it goes?

(more of a philosophical discussion)

Assume that you are given the opportunity to choose where your income tax will go on the condition that you'll be taxed at a higher rate than you normally would, would you do it? For the sake of the poll, let's assume a 10% increase on the amount of taxes you pay. (So if your normal tax rate is 25% it'll be 25%*(1+10%) = 27.5%)

For example, you'd have the option of selecting for all of your taxes to go towards "education" or "military."
Likewise you'd have the option to prevent any of your tax money from going to any expenses, ex "social security" or "military."
Basically, you get to roughly say where your tax money will go and the government will implement it. You don't have full control, ie you want your money to go to education and not military, but that computer scientist ended up joining the air force, you'd just have to deal with it.

Also assume that you're not the only one, but that there is a significant population with this option that it could change the division of expenses.

Given this situation would you be willing to pay a higher tax rate if you have a say in where your specific amount will go? If so, please also answer what's the highest tax increase you're willing to accept for the ability to determine where your tax money goes. If not, is there a lower percentage increase that would entice you to do it?
